Respone to Plato's Allegory

At the very end of the video clip, the narrator proclaims, “To them, it will never exist. This of course, does not make the world outside of the cave any…less…real,” Which completed my aligning thoughts on the clip, and how every one of us is bound by chains, forced into the fake ideals and lifestyle that is our society. In regards to art it applies the same way. I feel from birth, we are conditioned to see things a certain way, use only what we have, and potentially settle for something less, shall our achievement not be reached. Where release from the cave comes in, is the drive inside of us to break away from the monotony, yearn to create an individual style of work, and continue to fuck with peoples minds.
